This really is an authentic Italian restaurant. A must when in the area. I've been twice, with a group of 9 and qith my girlfriend. Both times, I left looking forward to returning. The food, the service and the feel of the place are spot on. 👌🏽

We had a really lovely lunch here for a birthday celebration. The staff were fantastic and treated us very well, the food was spectacular - super fresh (we got calamari, bresaola, bruschetta on the house, pasta, pizza, ravioli, fish, veal, desserts), and everything we ordered tasted amazing!! Thank you all for a great time, we will definitely be coming back.

Without a doubt, the best Italian restaurant we have ever visited. Staff so welcoming, we felt like we were being invited into their home. The food was freshly cooked and so delicious without exception. We were there for a birthday celebration so alot of us and every plate was cleared! Only regret is we don't live nearer as we'd be back like a shot. Bonus was homemade Italian cakes, pastries and biscuits being on sale. I don't know if this is a regular thing but my goodness they looked fantastic. We bought 2 boxes!

We fancied an impromptu dinner out together and didn’t want to go into Cambridge so we tried La Pergola and we were not disappointed! We were greeted by friendly and attentive staff. The food was delicious; we started with a tomato and oregano pizza bread - the dough was soft and pillowy followed by Vitello with mushrooms (for me) and ragu for my husband. Both mains were delicious and a great portion size. Hubby went for pistachio semi freddo for his dessert and that was good too. The service was good, not too much not too little and the atmosphere was fun (there were a few Xmas party tables that arrived after us). We’ll definitely come again in the New Year! Buon Natale!

The best Italian restaurant around Cambridge. Delicious foods, nice service, and reasonable prices. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and food here.

A family run Italian restaurant with a heart in cooking so good that you may regularly visit. What makes the first try is either from a friend's recommendation or credible reviews that's why I am writing this one ! Love the pasta, pizza and tiramisu

I attended as part of a group booking and was really disappointed with the food. It was barely hot by the time it arrived to the table. When ordering our drinks we asked if they did an alcoholic free drink which they said they didn’t which was fine and we ordered some cokes. When given the cokes the bar tender said the drink we originally asked for did not exist. We said that it did exist and we could get alcohol free drinks in other pubs and restaurants. I appreciate different places do different drinks, we had not been here before and were only asking. This bar tender was incredibly rude and sarcastic when all we did was ask a simple question which he seemed so angered by. I know that other people had problems ordering drinks from this bar tender and started to refer to him as the “rude one”. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was so disheartening being spoken to in this way as a young female who just asked a simple question.

I went here for a group dinner and can say I wouldn’t recommend it here really. We were told we could order from the bar before the table was ready and the bar staff were just rude to say the least. Both staff were not friendly but one in particular was argumentative that I had asked the previous member of staff if they served a particular non-alcoholic drink. He argued that it did not exist even though I have drank it elsewhere before. (It wasn’t even a problem that they didn’t serve it, I just chose a different drink). When serving the preordered meals to our group some staff were rude and uncooperative about getting the food to the right people. This negative attitude from some of the staff made it an uncomfortable atmosphere for us as a group. The quality of the food was okay but nothing to blow me away into really wanting to return. I could definitely have a more enjoyable experience elsewhere and wouldn’t waste my time/money going back. I mean unless I felt like having another go of paying to have bad service.

Wedding anniversary meal, with family. Feels like being on holiday every time we eat here. Joyful atmosphere and cracking authentic food. Definitely going to be a regular haunt.

It was extremely busy, which is a good sign... the food and service were both great. A drink was spilt over me accidentally, and they offered to pay for my dress to be dry cleaned, which was very kind of them.. Will definitely be going back..
